The Virtual Engineering Centre (VEC) is now seeking a candidate to join our team in the role of Digital Transformation Associate (Innovation, AI and Emerging Technologies).
This role will play a pivotal role in supporting businesses to adopt emerging technologies and unlock growth opportunities. The post holder will act as a trusted advisor, building strong relationships with SMEs, larger organisations, and stakeholders to drive digital innovation strategies.
This role combines business engagement and partnership building with subject matter expertise in emerging technologies, AI, and digital transformation. The successful candidate will work with businesses to identify challenges and opportunities, guide them in the strategic adoption of technology, and provide practical support including innovation funding and grant writing.
You will join a multidisciplinary team focusing on:
• Data Science, Data Analytics and data processing
• Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Autonomous Systems
• Immersive Systems, VR, AR and mixed reality application development
• Robotics, IoT and connected systems
• Digital twins and digital threads
• Design optimisation, manufacture and assembly
• High fidelity simulations and architectures for distributed simulation
• Sensors, Diagnostics and Biomedical Devices
