Cheshire West and Chester Council is delivering an event that will provide information about issues such as grant funding, tax savings, vehicle choice, availability of power supply, and design of EV charging solutions for your business.

With a panel of guest speakers and the biggest ever display of electric vehicles in Cheshire, get the information you need at our free-to-attend Business Breakfast event on 21 May at the Civic Hall, Ellesmere Port from 8am to 10am – register at the link below.

The event covers the following topics:

  • Understanding EV charging options and grants for business
  • Moving to a net zero electricity network
  • Cheshire West and Chester Council charging update
  • Transitioning to EVs – local business case studies:

– Transition to eHGV

– EV fleet and workplace charging in practice

  • How EVs are part of a business energy audit around renewables
  • Transitioning to an EV factory

In addition to the main presentations running from 8 am to 10 am, there will be specialist presentations from 10 am on subjects such as developing local EV charging infrastructure through the forthcoming new LEVI (Local Electric Vehicle Infrastructure) charging network.

Electric vehicles on display at the event will include the BMW i5, BMW iX2, BYD Atto 3, BYD Seal, Ford E-Transit, Ford Mach-E, Genesis GV60, Genesis GV70, Genesis GV80, Hyundai IONIQ 5 N, Hyundai IONIQ 6, MINI Cooper, Peugeot E-2008, Peugeot E-308, Vauxhall Astra Electric, Vauxhall Mokka Electric, Volkswagen ID.7 and the Volkswagen ID. Buzz. The Tesla Model 3, Tesla Model Y, Toyota bZ4X and the Toyota Proace City van will be available for test drives.

Other exhibitors on hand to help with switching to electric will include Char.gy, Connected Energy, DriveElectric, E.ON Drive, Health Box, Joju Solar, TB Electrics and Trojan Energy.

Event delegates will receive a free downloadable Electric Vehicle Business Toolkit, providing essential information for organisations about EVs and charging.

Following the business breakfast presentations, the event will be open to the public from 10am to 2pm.
