Why you should attend

Laser processes has found a place in the automotive production environment. Jaguar Land Rover, Halewood Operations makes use of laser processes in all areas of the vehicle construction and assembly, from tailor welded blanks in stamping processes to customise at line labelling and vehicle identification. This lecture overviews the use of laser processes specific to Halewood Operations with particular interest on the use of high power laser joining and marking processes in Body in White vehicle construction, where laser processes give unique capabilities for vehicle styling and construction of lightweight vehicles.
